About
Sara Landon brings two decades of high-end events experience to her boutique NYC studio. She cut her teeth at the Friars Club of Beverly Hills, then spent years at Wolfgang Puck's Hollywood off-premise catering company producing the Academy Awards, the Grammys, and various movie premieres.
She founded Sara Landon Events in New York City in 2014, and her work has since been featured in People, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Brides. She brings detail-orientation with humor, compassion, and discretion.
At Sara Landon Events, LGBTQ+ inclusion means creating a space where every couple feels fully seen, celebrated, and safe to show up exactly as they are. Love is love, family can look a lot of different ways, and every wedding we plan is approached with empathy, respect, and the belief that your celebration should reflect you, not tradition for tradition's sake.

A boutique studio approach: each event is treated with a fresh perspective. The team plans everything from intimate soirées to parties of thousands across the tri-state or globally.
For full-service, the team is fully involved from engagement through wedding day — budgets, monthly checklists, pre- and post-event activities. For month-of, the team takes over 30 days out, finalizes the master timeline, gratuity sheet, and vendor contact list.

Under the shade of the Brooklyn Bridge, Carly and Melanie tied the knot at The River Café. Their evening celebrated everything they love about New York City, with a brass band, sweeping views of the skyline, and a vintage taxi cab that whisked them away at the end of the night.

Matt and George said “I do” with an intimate dinner party that celebrated their love story with family and friends. The festivities started with a memorable ceremony officiated by a family member and then moved to dinner and dancing. The evening was candlelit and filled with personal touches, including an after-party at the movie theatre to watch a favorite film with those they loved.

From helping one another get ready to walking hand-in-hand to their ceremony, Max and Eric celebrated every minute of their wedding day together. On the roof of The Jane Hotel, they exchanged a promise to love fiercely and then kicked off an epic dance party. Disco balls spun, Jell-O bites were served on silver trays, and drag queens dazzled the crowd with spectacular performances.
