Dear September Events

Outside of deciding to marry my wife, choosing Dear September Events (DSE) for our special day was one of the best decisions we have ever made! We worked directly with DeAnne and Sarah, who were so kind and patient. Despite our lack of specific direction, they took charge and delivered beyond our expectations. DeAnne understood our vision, even when we ourselves were not entirely sure what that vision was. She did not even bat an eye when we u-turned and decided an international destination wedding was the dream. We leaned on DeAnne heavily throughout the planning process, and she seamlessly brought everything together. Even with vendors in another country, nothing slipped by her! DeAnne was organized, understanding, and knowledgeable. She was always responsive and addressed any concerns we had, making the entire experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. She supported and advocated for us, even after the celebrations were over when some details needed to be resolved with a vendor. Working with her, it was clear that DeAnne has a real passion for her work and loves what she does! Sarah was with us in person for day of coordination. She handled our group well and everything flowed flawlessly. We are sure there were many things going on behind the scenes that we are not even aware of, which allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the celebration knowing that she had everything handled. It was the small details that made having DSE so special. DeAnne checked in with us the whole time we were abroad and sent the sweetest messages. Sarah helped manage our families, corral our wedding parties, and made sure we were taken care of. It was incredibly warm on our wedding day, and Sarah made sure we hydrated and hid us in the shade every chance she got. She was equipped with napkins and blotting sheets, which were definitely needed! We wholeheartedly recommend DSE to anyone looking for a dedicated, talented, and passionate wedding planning team! You definitely want DeAnne and Sarah on your side for your wedding process. Deanne and her team at Dear September worked thoroughly with me and my husband to create our perfect wedding. She listened to what we wanted and added so much magic and things we never would have thought of. The whole day ran so smoothly with so many special details that would have never happened without Dear September. Deanne kept me sane though what would have been a stressful time and kept us on track with her handy website and checklists. Couldn’t recommend enough! DeAnne is the absolute best!! She helped us plan our dream wedding and we are so grateful for her! From start to finish, we truly enjoyed working with DeAnne and her team. DeAnne is so knowledgeable, thoughtful, and will really take the time to understand your vision and bring it to life. She is detail-oriented, organized, calm, and supportive. She always made us feel empowered when making decisions, while also offering her professional opinions and expertise. DeAnne helped us do it all: finding the venue, selecting photographer/videographer, selecting a florist, making meal selections, picking our glasses, plates, silverware, stationary, trying our signature drinks, and so much more! One of the things we appreciated most was how she made the process so fun and enjoyable. We truly loved everything about our wedding planning journey. DeAnne was always available to us and promptly responded to all of our questions and concerns. We know she was working with other clients, but honestly it never felt that way. We always felt like a top priority! The day of our wedding was so magical and perfect, and none of that would have been possible without DeAnne and her team. Beyond being an incredible planner, she truly felt like a friend and cheerleader every step of the way, and we couldn’t imagine doing it without her!
